Getting Started in Rally-FrEe
Shiny new things are exciting! Here’s a quick start guide to walk you through setting up your membership account, learning signs and entering events.
First Things First. Becoming a member of RFE is easy. It’s all done online.
Membership Privileges. With your first year’s dues, we set up your account and titling records. You can then access your records any time. Although you don’t have to renew your membership after the first year, if you do, you’ll receive many valuable benefits:
- Discounts on entry fees
- Discounts on RFE sponsored workshops
- Discounts on retail products
- Access to training articles
- Access to sample Rally-FrEe courses
- Access to online titling records
- Event hosting privileges
Once in a Lifetime. Now that you have an account, you can register your dog(s). For $22 each, your dogs are registered for a lifetime.
Practice Practice Practice. There are many ways to learn the signs. You can buy a set in our shop or print a set for free from the website. You can use video tutorials, our free app for Apple or Android, or you can check to see if there’s an instructor teaching classes near you.
Test Your Skills. When you’re ready, you can submit a Skills Test or find an event near you to enter. Open events are listed on the website and on the RFE Facebook page. Some upcoming events are listed at the bottom of this newsletter. After you enter, you’ll submit your video link and wait for your results. Need help submitting your video? Watch this.
